Chad Becker
In addition to his Director role and oversight / directing of practices for ALL U14 and U12 teams
Chad Becker will be the Head Coach of 14-1s team.
With Becker’s guidance as the EPVA director and U14 head coach Eden Prairie’s youth volleyball program is aligned with a progression to the High School program. His involvement also carries out EPVA’s goal to be a top choice club for girls to advance their skills and play of volleyball. Chad Becker’s volleyball leadership within Eden Prairie dates back to 1996 when he first joined the High School Coaches Team. Becker advanced to his current position of Head Varsity Coach for the Eden Prairie Eagles which he has held since 2006. The Eagles are consistently a top ranked team in their conference under Becker’s leadership. In 2011, Eden Prairie won its first Class AAA Volleyball State Championship title. Becker was also named “Coach of the Year” in 2011 for Class AAA by the MN Volleyball Coaches Association.
Chad played for Naperville North High School (IL) and went on to play for the Univ of MN Men's Club - both at the setter position. Following college Chad went on to coach for EP Girls Athletic Association, Club Tonka and then spent 13 years coaching at Northern Lights before joining the EPVA.
Scott is very excited to join Club EP. Scott spent his volleyball playing days in southern California earning all-conference and all-state honors in high school and went on to play at El Camino College and at UC Riverside. After spending 7 years working in the video game industry, Scott returned to school to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education, graduating with high honors from DePaul University. Scott’s decision to leave corporate America to teach high school was highly inspired by his desire to coach volleyball (as well as his wife’s desire to move back to Chicago). Scott moved to MN in 2011. He has 19 seasons of coaching experience with both boys and girls, ranging in age from 12 to 18... 12 seasons in Chicago coaching 9A, JV and as varsity assistant at GBS high school, including a 3rd place IL state tournament finish. The last 7 seasons have been in MN with Chanhassen CV (12-1, 13-1 and 14-2), Chanhassen HS (B-squad) and EPHS (9B).

Molly (Brion) Johnson
I grew up in a small town near Rice Lake Wisconsin. After High school I decided to stay fairly close to home and attended UW- Stout where I played Volleyball, ran Track, and coached club volleyball for a season. I graduated in May 2017 and got a job teaching in Rogers, Minnesota. I had the opportunity to coach their 16's club team (Velocity) for a season. This past summer I got a job here in Eden Prairie with both teaching elementary art at Eden Lake, Prairie View, and Forest Hills and coaching the B Squad volleyball team. I have really enjoyed getting to know the girls here and the coaching staff. In my free time, you can find me out on the boat doing water activities, hanging out with family and friends, or crafting.
Rachel Tschumperlin
I grew up in a smaller town called Fairmont, MN. After high school I attended the University of Wisconsin – Stout where I played 4 years of collegiate volleyball. During my senior year I started coaching with a club hosted in Menomonie, WI. I coached with that club for 3 years, coaching 16’s my first 2 years and 18’s my last year. After I had finished my volleyball career as an athlete I was contacted by the high school in Menomonie to be the varsity assistant coach. I was the varsity assistant for 2 years until I finished with my academics at Stout. I graduated with a degree in Art Education in December of 2017 and moved on to find a art teacher position with the Eden Prairie School District. I teach elementary art for Oak Point, Eagle Heights, and Cedar Ridge and I am loving it. I am excited to dive into the districts opportunities and get back into volleyball.
